1.Window Measurement Guide
We will tell you how to measure. Make sure your measurements are accurate so that you can guarantee a perfect fit for your curtains.
Before you begin, we recommend the following:
Metal tape measure, pen or pencil paper
Measuring pinch pleat curtains
When you order curtains, we need you to provide two measurements, the track length and the curtain height.
For Curtain Tracks
Step 1 The length of your track is simply the measurement from one end of the track to the other.
Step 2 The curtain drops from the top of the track to where you want the curtain to end, which may be just below the window sill, or you can drop to the floor.
For Curtain Rods
Step 1 - The length measurement is from one end of the rod to the other, but does not include the finial at the end.
Step 2 - When measuring the length of a curtain on a rod, simply measure from the underside of the rod to where you want the curtain to end.
Measurements for Eyelet and Buckle Top Curtains
Eyelet curtains can only be hung on rods, and we need you to measure their length and drop before placing your order.
Step 1 - The length of the rod is from one end of the rod to the other (excluding the finial at the end).
Step 2- For the drop length of the curtain, measure the length from the top of the rod to where the curtain will end up, we add the excess above the curtain eyelets.
2.Choose curtain fabric
Solid curtains are versatile and give you a wide range of decorating options, and they will still blend in beautifully with any future decorating changes you might want. Plus, if you already have an existing pattern scheme, solid curtains are a good safe bet to give your room the balance it needs. If you’re looking for curtains that will simply blend in, try choosing a hue that’s slightly darker than the walls, as this will provide a soft, unobtrusive look.
3.Choosing a Curtain Lining
Customizing your curtains involves choosing a lining, which plays a role in the look and feel of your curtains. Each lining will accentuate your curtains in a different way.
The lining can block light, drafts from windows.
Some curtains do not require the purchase of a lining, so keep an eye out for custom options.
4.Selecting A heading style
The curtain header is the top fabric section that will attach to the track or rod. When choosing a header style, keep in mind that this will not only drastically change the look of your curtains, but will also determine the type of track or rod to use.
Double Pinch Pleats
Our pinch pleats are a decorative touch that gives your curtains a uniform, clean finish. You can choose a double pinch pleat, which is a popular choice for modern decor.
Each pleat is gathered by hand. There is no tape on the back of the curtain header, and we use a stiffening fabric to ensure a clean, even finish.
For ease of installation, your curtains will come with mobile hooks that plug into the back of the pleats. Each hook can be repositioned to lower and raise the curtain, providing some flexibility to achieve the desired drape.
Please note: the width of the curtain cannot be adjusted.
5.Choose curtain ties
Curtain ties are used to pull curtains back decoratively, allowing light to enter in a beautiful curve. Curtain ties are made of fabric and magnets.
6.Curtain Installation
Hanging the curtains on the track
Step 1 All of our pleats come with hooks already installed on the back of the curtain strip. Before hanging the curtains, make sure the number of hooks corresponds to the number of runners on the track.
Step 2 You can easily adjust the height of the curtains by removing and repositioning the hooks located on the curtain strip.
Step 3 - To hang the curtains, simply insert the hooks into the eyelets of each track r
